When you want people to pay you back, wouldn’t you try to make it easier for people to make the payment?
Apparently PTPTN doesn’t think so. I’ve been consistently paying off my PTPTN study loan for the past couple of years and yet, every couple of months the portal will surely fuck up one way or another, thus essentially STOPPING me from paying back. It’s like they don’t even want us to pay the money back with their absurd system.
Google epay PTPTN will lead you to the following results:
The first link will lead to to a place where you’d need to key in something called loan number. And ain’t nobody’s got time to dig through their loan documents at home to look for that. Despite you having signed up for an account with PTPTN eons ago, they do not even offer you the option of keying in the ID and password you set in order to access your account. Yay. Not.
The second link? Even better.
Correct link to pay: http://www.ptptn.gov.my/gateway/
I found this link long ago after exploring the entire official website (useless) and googling the shit out of how to pay back the loan. I found it in the end in some other blog/website which details the entire repayment process because god knows how difficult it is to use the PTPTN website.
However, if you think you’ll be home free after managing to find the obscure link to log in to your account, you’re wrong.
This is what you’ll see if you’ve attempted payment for the past week or so.
So, contact merchant huh? Okay, there’s a nifty link right at the top of the page for you to click right?
Yeah, no. Not working either.
Is it because it was a holiday yesterday and the whole PTPTN just decided to stop working for a whole week? And people wonder why I hate our (utterly incompetent) government.
