It’s a freaking strange day. First, my laptop has suddenly gained the ability to read Chinese characters. It used to display these funny rectangular boxes instead of the real characters ever since I formatted it months back and couldn’t change the settings for it to display Chinese characters. But then!!! I came back from dinner/supper and lo and behold! I could actually read people’s facebook status updates in Mandarin!!! O.O Wtf? Did some mysterious genie do something to my lappie while I was out stuffing my face?

Well, that’s not the end of strange things.

This is a very WTF moment. And I am no Sherlock Holmes so I have no freaking idea how and why this old man is in the Mamee Monster party pack.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I shall go and ponder this strange thing instead of doing my assignment. Kthxbai.

After waiting and waiting and waiting for 3 damn days, I FINALLY got the damned package. First day, I overslept, didn’t catch the mail guy. Second day, he didn’t even come after saying he would! Which means I waited the whole afternoon in the living room with the doors wide open for nothing! Third day, my housemates got it for me while they were downstairs cooking when the guy finally appeared. *tear*

Pink bag is a little too garish FML. Risks of shopping online sigh. Eh, ignore my camera string on the bottom right. -_____-

Late night snack. FML diet fail.

I don’t know why! Recently I kept having trouble sleeping! I’d still be awake at 5am. T___T Which contributes to my dark under eyes circles getting worse. The above sandwich failed too because I was too impatient waiting for the eggs to become fully cooked. Which is why there’s some suspicious looking liquid leaking out from the sides. LE-SIGH. Note to self: half-boiled egg is not good for sandwiches.

Am going to re-read one of my favourite books again because I have ran out of reading materials. >.>

Oily sheen. Yellow cotton pad. Clogged pores. Redness. Freckles. Zits. Deep dark rings.

Such is the tragedy that is my face. Sigh. Goodnight. Time for a mask tomorrow.

I’ve been pretty busy in the kitchen recently. I am trying to improve my cooking! Though the lack of ingredients and equipments here does hinder my culinary ambitions.

Sigh, I want an oven. A real, big oven where I can bake cakes, cookies, meat and stuff. Not the small oven wannabe at home that is incapable of heating up enough for even cookies.

Well, that aside, imma show you some pictures of stuff I’ve cooked recently! Prolly doesn’t taste as good as your mom’s cooking. But hey! I’ve just started out! There’s always room for improvement.

I’m sure everyone has something he or she wants. Even if you’re the richest person on earth, there’d still be something that you covet.

I, for one, have things that I wish for too! And that wish list at the veeeery bottom of my sidebar is the proof of that. However, keep in mind that that particular list hasn’t been updated in quite some time. So yeah, wish list has expanded since. *cough*

Today, Imma talk about the top 5 treats I would kill love to have.

Number 5 – A new wallet.

I have had my current wallet for over two years. I bought it back in the J-card sale of 2007. The one where my mom and I spent over RM1k in a single day. -_- The problem is, there are only two measly card slots. And I have over 10 cards stuffed into that two slots.

I’ll let the pictures do the talking, shall I?

Number 4 – A new phone.

My phone is even sadder than my wallet. I have had this phone since 2005. That is like dinosaur age for phones, no? I’ve dropped it into a pail of water, dropped it on the floor and made its guts spilled out all over the place so many times over the years that I’ve lost count of the times when I literally had to pick up the pieces one by one and put ‘em back together.

People who know me will know how incredibly clumsy I am and how incredibly sturdy my phone is. Yes yes, you heard me right. Despite all the trauma I put it through, it is still functioning, albeit scratched and looking a little worse for wear.

I desperately need a new phone but due to my indecisiveness, I never did settled on a phone choice long enough to actually make the purchase. So the best thing would be to buy me a new one to spare me from the decision making process. *coughsatiocoughainocough*

Number 3 – A laptop. Or more specifically, the new Dell Inspiron 13.

Why? Because I do not have a laptop or a desktop! Seriously. I don’t. The laptop that I’m currently using is the family laptop that has been around since eons ago. And so, I can’t even play my Sim 3 on it FML.

The new Dell Inspiron 13 comes in very yummy colours! Black, white, pink, lime green, blue etc. And they come in Cherry Red as well!!! *faints*

It’s also equipped with Intel^® Core^TM 2 Duo processor! I am a computer noob so I don’t really know what it means except that it’ll be tons faster compared to my current laptop! Which means I might get to play my Sims 3!!11!

And because I am blind, I hate puny laptop screens whereby I can’t see anything without my glasses or contacts. So the 16:9 widescreen format is perfect! And not to mention it’s only 1.8kg. Perfect to bring to uni or to bring back home during the weekends! No need to lug my ancient one around. I swear I can gain muscles just by lugging it around the place. -_-

Plus, it’s WiFi enabled. Means I can facebook, stalk blogs, chat on msn, blog and all everywhere where there’s WiFi! In class too! xD

Number 2 – A car! Any car wtf.

No la, actually, I like Myvi. Yeah, despite it being a Perodua. But like I said, I can’t resist cute things. And I happen to think that Myvi is really cute! One of the best national cars ever made. Tons better looking than those… abominations called Juara. *shudders*

If I have a car, I wouldn’t have to walk under the hot sun to go to class anymore. Nor would I have two-toned legs. T___________T Not to mention that it’d be a thousand times more convenient to go to places like the bank or whatever. Stupid taxis here costs a bomb!

Number 1 – To go on a vacation.

I haven’t been on a vacation for so long! I need a break from all the assignments tutorials lectures! Next year I’ll be in my final year, which means it’ll probably be too hectic for me to go on a trip to anywhere.

It is now 2.55am in the morning. I have no class tomorrow. I have a 10-page assignment due Thursday morning. I am now stuck at 3 and a half pages. It has been stuck there since an hour ago. I am bored. I do not want to do my assignment. I am surprisingly not sleepy.

I miss home. Sigh, what should I do?

I was alerted by the news around 6pm when my friend messaged me to ask if I was okay as he heard news of UTAR students who went missing at the Kampar waterfalls. After assuring him that I was fine, I went online to search for the news. Turns out that there are 3 missing students, 2 males & 1 female, who got swept away by the currents at the waterfall.

It has now been less than 5 hours. 1 of the male victim’s body has been found. Rescue and search efforts are still going on as I type.

Never in my life would I have imagined that I knew one of the victims, James. Hope is dim. All I can do is pray. Life is precious. I really don’t know what to say. Please, take care of yourselves. Don’t go to the waterfalls during rainy season.
